Hop into something comfy, bring a blanket, pillow or yoga bolster and get ready to relax. Yin is perfect for beginners and experienced members. We find the edge and relax into it. It is a slow, gentle and relaxing style of yoga that has emphasis on the connective tissue of the body and the Meridian Theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine - Energetic Lines of the Body. Yin Yoga can be quite challenging and I will assist with Options for every Body. The poses are held for 3-5 minutes and a new depth emerges as the mind and body aims to become calm and remain calm. Yin exercises the connective tissue, typically not achieved in other styles of yoga. -the ligaments, tendons and fascia which connects the the whole body like a sheath. It is believed that when there is a blockage in the meridian or energy Chanel-disease sets in. We Balance the Meridians to promote the Flow of Energy.
